Bunny Mummy Release Date: The Official Launch
The Bunny Mummy release date is October 3, 2026, when the Bunny Mummy Quest Pack went live as a Halloween-themed offering for Fortnite. According to the official Xbox store listing, the pack launched with a full bundle of mummy-inspired cosmetics and a quest track designed around the spooky season.
The timing is no coincidence. Fortnite has a long tradition of dropping Halloween cosmetic bundles in early October, giving players the entire Fortnitemares window to enjoy themed outfits. Bunny Mummy follows that pattern, arriving just ahead of the seasonal event rush.

What Launched With the Pack on Release Day
When the Bunny Mummy release date arrived, buyers received a coordinated four-piece cosmetic set built around the Bunnybone character — a bandage-wrapped rabbit with a skeletal, ancient-tomb aesthetic. Every item shares the same visual language, making the pack a complete themed loadout rather than a random assortment.
Bunnybone Outfit
- The featured mummy rabbit skin
- Halloween-inspired silhouette
- Works in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and supported modes
Bunnybone-to-go Back Bling
- Matching back accessory
- Complements the outfit's bandage theme
- Can be mixed with other spooky skins
Mummified Selfie Stick Pickaxe
- Themed harvesting tool
- Continues the wrapped-and-bone visual style
- Usable across supported Fortnite experiences
Bandaged Bunny Wrap
- Cosmetic wrap for weapons and vehicles
- Completes the full Bunnybone loadout
- Depends on compatible customization slots

How to Get Bunny Mummy After the Release Date
If you missed launch day, the process is straightforward. Follow this sequence to purchase the pack and start earning its rewards.
Find the Official Listing
Open the Epic Games Store product page or check the Fortnite Item Shop to confirm the pack is currently available.
Purchase on the Right Account
Complete the $8.99 purchase while signed in to the Epic Games account you actually play Fortnite on. Content does not transfer between accounts.
Launch Fortnite and Check the Locker
Start Fortnite and verify the Bunnybone Outfit, back bling, pickaxe, and wrap appear in your Locker.
Open the Quests Tab
Locate the Bunny Mummy quest category in the Quests interface to review objectives and the V-Bucks reward track.
Complete Objectives and Claim Rewards
Play matches, finish the listed objectives, and return to the Quests screen to claim each unlocked reward as milestones complete.
Purchases are tied to your Epic Games account, so the cosmetics can be used anywhere Fortnite is available for that account — no need to repurchase per platform.
V-Bucks Rewards and Launch Value
Since the release date, the core value question for most players is the V-Bucks return. The pack allows you to earn up to 800 V-Bucks by progressing through its quest track — a separate benefit from the four cosmetics you get immediately.
| Value Factor | Assessment |
|---|---|
| Cosmetic count | 4 items for $8.99 — strong per-item value |
| V-Bucks return | Up to 800, requires quest completion |
| Theme coherence | Consistent Halloween aesthetic across all items |
| Best audience | Collectors and Halloween-style players |
| Weakest fit | Players only wanting a quick V-Bucks purchase |
The $8.99 price is a real-money cost, separate from the V-Bucks you can earn. Evaluate the cosmetics and the quest-earned V-Bucks as two distinct parts of the pack's value.
Availability After Launch and Player Checklist
Fortnite quest packs do not remain in the Item Shop permanently. After the release date, availability depends on Epic's rotating shop schedule and whether the pack returns for future Fortnitemares events. If the pack is not visible in the Item Shop, the Epic Games Store listing and platform storefronts like Xbox are the most reliable places to check current status.
Bunny Mummy Buyer Checklist:
- Confirm the pack is listed on the Epic Games Store or Item Shop
- Verify you are purchasing on your main Fortnite account
- Check the Locker for all 4 included cosmetics
- Open the Quests tab and review the 800 V-Bucks reward track
- Contact Epic Games Help if purchased content does not appear
