Bunny Mummy Item Shop Date Explained
The Bunny Mummy item shop date refers to when the Bunny Mummy Quest Pack first became available in Fortnite's storefront channels. According to the official Xbox store listing, the pack went live on October 3, 2026, positioned as a Halloween-season offering. It is sold as a direct-money add-on, not through V-Bucks.
Because the pack is tied to a seasonal window, availability can rotate. Check these official channels before assuming it is still purchasable:
| Channel | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Epic Games Store | Official product page | Primary listing for the pack |
| Xbox Store | Live listing | Confirms $8.99 and October 3, 2026 |
| Fortnite Item Shop | Rotating | In-game availability may vary by date |
Item Shop offers rotate on a regular schedule. If the pack is not in the shop on a given day, check the Epic Games Store listing first — DLC packs often remain purchasable there even when they rotate out of the in-game shop.

How to Buy and Claim Rewards After the Item Shop Date
Once the pack is live, follow this flow from purchase to full reward collection:
Purchase the Pack
Open the official Epic Games Store page or the Fortnite Item Shop listing while signed into the Epic account you use for Fortnite, then complete the $8.99 purchase.
Launch Fortnite on the Same Account
Start Fortnite and confirm the displayed Epic account matches the purchasing account. Items do not transfer between accounts.
Check Your Locker
Look for the Bunnybone Outfit, Back Bling, Pickaxe, and Wrap. Equip them individually or save a themed preset.
Open the Quests Tab
Find the Bunny Mummy quest category, review objectives, and track progress toward the V-Bucks reward milestones.
Complete Objectives and Claim
Finish the listed objectives in eligible modes, return to the Quests screen, and claim each reward as it unlocks — up to 800 V-Bucks total.
If items do not appear, restart Fortnite, verify your platform account link, and allow time for purchase synchronization. For unresolved issues, use Epic Games Help.
Value Check: Is It Worth $8.99?
| Player Type | Verdict | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| Collectors | Best fit | Complete seasonal themed set with collection value |
| Cosmetic players | Strong value | Four coordinated items for less than most bundle prices |
| V-Bucks hunters | Conditional | Must complete all quests to reach the 800 V-Bucks cap |
| Minimal cosmetics users | Wait or skip | Quest time may not pay off if the theme is unwanted |
At $8.99 for four cosmetics plus up to 800 V-Bucks in quest rewards, the pack offers solid value — but only if you will actually use the Bunnybone set and finish the quests.
Before and After Buying:
- Verify the pack is currently listed on an official storefront
- Confirm you are signed into the correct Epic account
- Locate all four cosmetics in your Locker
- Open the Quests tab and review Bunny Mummy objectives
- Claim each V-Bucks reward milestone as it unlocks
